Bill started Lowcountry Coins in 2006 while serving as a Naval Reactors Technical Assistant Chief Warrant Officer Submarines in the United States Navy. He grew his passion for his hobby into the ‘premier’ coin shop of the Carolinas with the belief that the best advertising in the world has to be earned, by word of mouth, through honesty, integrity and hard work. Bill is the discoverer of over 36 Morgan and Peace dollar varieties and also specializes in all ‘Cherrypickers’ varieties. Bill retired from the U.S. Navy in 2011 as a CWO-4(SS) after 29 years of service, was elected to serve on the South Carolina Numismatic Association Executive Board in 2011 and continues to serve as the SCNA Bourse Chairman.
